North American maple shells

SJC Paramount shells are built from dense North American maple. This solid grain offers the powerful tone required for today’s modern music. With a 7-ply construction, these shells burst with warm vintage character. They cut with crisp precision. You’ll have no trouble with modern pop and indie styles, the SJC Paramount inspires passionate playing.

Low-mass hardware

Enjoy full resonance from the shells. All SJC Paramount shell packs come complete with low-mass hoops and hardware. The 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops ensure those classic maple qualities can be heard. Proprietary SJC Shield lugs provide tuning stability and studio-quiet performance, as well as allowing maximum resonance from the drums.

Taking a new approach to expanding their company, SJC are visiting factories around the world to form relationships with other drum builders, allowing SJC to increase their market whilst offering the same attention to detail and high-quality drums that all SJC Custom Drums are renowned for.
