This Friday Gordon Strachan takes his troops to Wembley to play England in an all-or-nothing World Cup qualifier. The same day the Scots of Drummers Only (Rosie’s an adopted Scot) head to London’s Olympia Conference Centre for the The London Drum Show.
The noise, the atmosphere, the passion! Yes, LDS will be the place to be in London this weekend and we cannot effing wait!!
LDS 2016 marks the first year us Scottish upstarts have been invited to exhibit at the Show. Far from mucking about with any old brands we’ve only gone and teamed up with the biggest drum company in the world – Pearl Drums. As if that wasn’t cool enough we will also be partnering with the finest cymbals to come out of the continent they call North America – SABIAN.
The Show takes place over Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th November and is the biggest and longest established drum event in the UK. This year big-hitters such as Chris Coleman, Mark Guiliana and Brian Frasier-Moore will perform on the main stage while UK talent in the form of Eddy Thrower, Joe Clegg, Ian Matthews and Glasgow’s-own Tom Potter will hold masterclasses.
So, if you’re coming to LDS this weekend please stop by the Pearl and Sabian stands to say hi. On the Pearl stand (#185) we’ll have a full range of kits, snares and hardware in association with Pearl Music Europe. Over at the Sabian stand (#100) we’ll be joining forces with Westside Distribution to showcase the most popular Sabian models as well as their Vater and Gon Bop brands.
