Happy Birthday, Carter Beauford!
Carter Beauford is the groove-meister and founding member of The Dave Matthews Band. A powerhouse and technically gifted drummer, Carter’s open-handed approach to drums open him up to be an incredibly musical drummer, creating unique rhythms and grooves. This adaptable style of drumming has opened him up to performing with Victor Wooten, Carlos Santana and many other great players of our time. We picked out 5 times where Carter Beauford was just AWESOME!

There’s a comment on this video that pretty much sums up everything you need to know about Carter Beauford:
“He is the master of the number one most important skill a drummer must have: Dynamic volume control. He is so sharp and musically complementary, and best of all nobody sounds like him.”
We can’t help but agree!
