Happy Birthday, Simon Phillips!
Let us throw some names at you: Judas Priest, Tears for Fears, 10cc, Jeff Beck, Pete Townshend, Frank Zappa, Peter Gabriel, and Toto – are just SOME of the names Simon Phillips has worked with over his illustrious career. Simon plays Tama drums and snares, Zildjian Cymbals, Remo Drum heads and ProMark drum sticks
SIMON PHILLIPS / PROTOCOL 4 – NIMBUS – STUDIO LIVE SESSION – LITTLE BIG BEAT STUDIOS
Simon showcases here the difference between simply being a drummer, and a bandleader. Simon is most definitely a bandleader – he conducts the band perfectly all while playing some of the most musical drum parts like it’s nothing. A true master!

Toto – Africa (2013) w/ Simon Phillips
There’s nothing better than watching an iconic drummer perform an iconic song. It’s the same feeling watching Steve Smith play Don’t Stop Believin’…
Hope you have a great day, Simon! Which performance from Simon over the years is your favourite?
