Drummers Only Podcast #67 – Claus Hessler

Claus Hessler is a drummer, author and teacher based in Germany. Beginning in 1990, he studied the Moeller Method with Jim Chapin and developed an Open-Handed playing technique. Claus is famously known for having taught fellow drumming prodigy, Anika Nilles.

Claus is also a member of the Modern Drummer Education Team, a Drumscene Magazine and Drums and Percussion contributor, and an endorser of Ahead products, Sabian Cymbals, Mapex Drums and Cooperman Drums, and Promark sticks, where he has a signature stick.
