Jost Nickel is a German drummer, composer and educator. His style is credited to be part of the “golden age” of drummers from Germany, with friends like Benny Greb, Anika Niles (a former student of his), and Marco Minnemann to name a few. His name appears within the credits on many hit records, but it’s not just being a top-class session drummer that fills all his time. Jost is also a fantastic drum educator, having released three educational books to critical acclaim! He is a Meinl & Sonor artist, with his signature Jost Nickel snare released in 2019.
