The Vintage series is first on the list.A return to the Sonor kits of old in both look and sound, the Vintage series is a 9ply Beech shell which comes from the same Forest that birthed the Sonor kits of the 50s and 60s. Combined with the uprgraded, offset, Teardrop lugs and vintage finishes, this kit is a total winner!! SQ1 comes next in the awesome stakes.Birch shells in combination with new innovative Sound Sustainer technology form the basis of a drum series with extraordinary sound characteristics. Together with exclusive matte lacquer finishes, a professional drum concept for live performance and studio recording was developed. A German made kit, these drums promise to be nothing short of spectacular. Combining Sonor’s CLTM (Cross Laminate Tension Free) shell construction with slightly outsized shell measurements, the tone from these drums is magnificent. Coupled with a new Sound Sustainer mount, which enables complete isolation of the metal mount and the wooden shell, the sound is particularly long lasting and clean decaying sustain, not just for tom toms but also all floor toms in the SQ1 series.

The Snare drum game is strong with a GORGEOUS 14×6 Artist series Maple drum in Cottonwood satin finish.
A 9ply shell with Die cast hoops and a Dual glide snare system, make this drum an awesome addsition to any snare arsenal.
The 9-ply maple shell produces a full-bodied and warm tone with lots of punch – versatile enough for a range of styles. The 14” x 6” shell size keeps the snare sounding tight with plenty of volume and depth, piercing through busy mixes with great definition. Stainless steel wires give a sensitive response, allowing you to adjust your playing dynamics without the snare compromising you.
