The new Vater Vinnie Colaiuta Signature Drum Sticks are here! Vinnie Colaiuta’s hands were missing a drumstick that could cover all the bases for him physically and musically, and the folks at Vater Drum Sticks stepped up to the plate.
Working closely with the Vater craftsmen, and even spending time on the Vater factory floor himself, Vinnie used various prototypes live, in the studio, and on the pad, paying close attention to what worked and didn’t work for him with each. This evaluation process evolved into fine-tuning specific key elements until arriving at this final design, which, to put it simply, is the one!
About The Stick
The grip size begins at.590″ with a very subtle flare out to.600″, then quickly returns to.590″ for a comfortable grip to a precisely calibrated taper for a great rebound, and finished with a medium-sized acorn tip for a full but defined sound.
